Mission Statement

D-Q University is non-denominational though committed to furnish education under the pervading influence, and Spirit of the indigenous Native Americans and Chicanos with curriculum and standards of instruction, held to be those of established Harvard and Stanford committed to providing a transformative educational experience. To advance knowledge and pursue truth the academic curriculum is based on asymmetrical development and discipline of the various powers of the mind, the formation of good physical constitution, and moral indigenous culture fostering intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning with a commitment to social justice and community engagement drawing out the best in each individual and contributing to the social, cultural and economic life of the Americas in a wider world.

Description

D-Q University, chartered (insert date here), and operated in Davis. Every institution, custom, or way of people is to create, nurture, and safeguard themselves, the territories that nurture them, the languages and stories of there being, there’s ceremonies and economies of survival bound to all living things, through universal laws of interdependence and local laws of autonomy and governance.

In a general instability, marked first by the anxieties of Covid and its aftermath, hampered fundraising efforts throughout the existence of the University. Support for public funds became obsolete. While the university was respectively, solvent, thanks to its land holdings, it was increasingly hard-pressed to find funds for daily operations. In 2023, the university’s trustees proposed an Academic Reorganization plan to address the challenges that lie ahead, and to accomplish our many goals in a transparent and inclusive manner to renovate while preserving indigenous culture in creating, relevant adaptable, in demand curricula with added customizable components of business, humanitarian and entrepreneurship.
